The Turbo is designed to be a comfortable daily driver. With the stock suspension, I am not surprised that it gets beat. 10 more cars beating it wouldn't even surprise me.
But...question that original poster might want to ponder... isn't it true that the GT-R has better time at the ring than the GT3 RS, a dedicated track car??

As mentioned in another post, if I owned current gen. GT3 RS, I would look to unload the car ASAP.
Unlike next gen. Turbo, which is +/- better than current Turbo, next gen. GT3 with more torque and no RMS problem will make the current GT3 RS very VERY obsolete. And if you don't mind PDK (which I read nothing but positive reviews so far), from purely track time point of view, wouldn't it reduce seconds off the current manual gear box GT3??
