    The Scuderia for me, no question - but I wouldn't pay Pounds4,616 for go-faster stripes, I wouldn't have them if they were free!

    I like the LP560-4 overall even though the Scuderia is probably the best driver's car. But I have not driven any of them! So I guess one should only really give weight to opinions based on actually driving these awesome cars...

    *sigh* what happened to the days when the GT3 was compared to the Stradale/Scud type Ferrari and the GT2 was in a league above. Now the GT3 is compared to the normal 430 (where its slower) and the GT2 compared to Scud (where its slower)...

    The GT2 is still the faster car (see the Supertest of Scuderia and GT2). However, you analysis is right regarding the other aspects mentioned. Ferrari (and also Lamborghini) did a lot to imrpove the quality and performance of their cars while Porsche did smaller steps (the GT2 is the exception from this rule as it defines the benchmark for high-performance cars again). Recent developments (997s PDK and GT2) indicate, however, that Porsche has identified the problem and that they are now working harder on the performance of future products

    I know the GT2 is still faster ...was being dramatic . But you do get what I was saying the gap has closed

    Indeed the acceleration data is very strange... In particular, the data does not fit:

    - the Supertest results (comparing Scuderia/GT2 speed on Doettinger Höhe, where the GT2 is significantly faster (also entering the straight a bit faster. though)).
    - the 0-300-0 test published by SportAuto where the GT2 does 0-140 in less than 17s compared to 18s in the above test.

    GT2 is a manual gearbox car... That is the reason for not so good acceleration results. HvS knows how to drive manual Porsche, these English gentlemans apparently do not...
    It is far easier to achieve good results with sequential manual then with stick...
