holy christ! that thing is fast... i doubt it'll "spank" a veyron though.. still very very fast! love the sound but where this guy lives i could keep up with a mini... damn traffic

Thats my car... It will spank a Veyron.. Simple math.. 1005rwhp (more than Veyron makes at the crank) in a car that weighed 3377lbs ready to go with a half tank of gas.. Approx 800lbs less than a Veyron.
Anyways thanks for the props guys. In the above video we were not at 1005rwhp... car has 3 settings, we were on the lowest of the 3, approx 765rwhp on pump gas.

There are twin turbo Murcielagos, their drivetrain, and chassis will never handle the power like the Gallardo does.

The Murcielago is based on an old design and old technology. The chassis is an old tubular frame, basicly same as the Diablo. Even according to Lambo they couldnt stretch the power of the Lp anymore due to chassis flex.
The Gallardos aluminum frame on the other hand is soo strong we Gallardo Spiders running around making 900rwhp.

When we took the car out that day we tried to attach the vbox to it.. In the video there is an area where I go through a turn and then into a short straight away. Even with going through that turn and having to let out the gas, the car still recorded a 6.8sec 60-130 time in 100 degree heat.. Fast as that is, we already have other Gallardos that have recorded 60 to 130 in 5.5 sec on the lowest setting, and the car that did this weighs approx 300lbs more than my car, and is a slower shifting Egear...
We expect my car will run low 5's 60-130 at the lowest setting... What it will do on the highest only god knows...

Must be almost nauseating accelerating like that. What a blast! Hope to see more vid's.

Isn't engine BHP enough? Wouldn't you need BHP for RWHP to make any sense?
RWHP is what the car puts to the ground.
What Crash said... Also don't forget that to get a real HP reading at the crank, you'd have to essentially take the engine out and put it on an engine dyno, which is a major PITA
