Is there an arrow indicating direction of rotation? If not, then you're fine as long as "outside" is on the outside. Some tires are asymetrical (outside and inside), some are directional (clockwise or counterclockwise) and some are both...
wow confusing lol the curve i can see is the one to the right of the picture..... on the left it curves that way on the right it curves the other way.....

I wouldn't think that the direction of the vertical treads is relevant to water dispersion which is their primary function. The contact patch is the same on both sides, so there would be no adverse effect on performance.
Easiest thing to do is look on the sidewall - if it says "outside" then it's mounted correctly. If it's a directional tire (not PS2's) then you will see an arrow showing rotation direction.
