    0W-40 in Chicago

    Other than Porsche dealers does anyone know where you can buy 0W-40 over the counter in Chicago?

    Can you get it from an Exxon petrol station? (We can get it from Esso in the UK - it's the UK name for Exxon)

    In CA 0W-40 can be found at auto parts stores like Kragen, AutoZone, PepBoys, and at Target, Costco and more. I imagine IL is no different.

    Tried a number of places

    And no success. Most have Mobil 1, but not 0W-40. They look at you like you;re crazy and "point to 11". Will try Walmart.

    Its Esso everywhere in the world but in the USA...
    Since Exxon and Mobil merged... that may be a place. What about a WalMart or other discounter? Really, no 0W40?
