Meteor Grey / Terracotta - Anyone have this combo?
I placed my 2009 FL order this past weekend. I went to the dealer planning to order Basalt/Black, but was blown away by a Meteor/Terracotta 2-tone 997 Cab in the showroom. I've searched this board and others and was only able to find a Cayman with this color combo (below). My decision to go Basalt/Black was because there was really no color that I loved (interior or exterior). My Boxster was black/grey, so I knew I didn't want that combo again, so the Basalt was a little different. I just kept going back to the Meteor cab in the showroom for another look. The terracotta alone is a bit much (there was a Turbo Cab there with all terracotta), but the black dash-top, door-tops and black mats provide a better color balance. The terracotta also adds a real wow factor to an otherwise conservative grey exterior.
Just to be safe, I do plan another trip to the dealer to make sure I still love the combo before my order is locked in.
