I've seen the California last weekend during a closed room presentation -- it does look better in reality than on pictures.
+ interior: the aluminium "bridge" between the seats looks great, nice seats, cool dials, full navi screen, it's a great to sit in the car. Car was equipped with rear seats and Isofix but there's not enough space to get a child seat into it if you ask me.
+ sideline: car looks best from the side...
+ roof: ...and with roof up. Folding mechanism is fun to watch and quite fast.
+ sound: they started the engine for a short time. Not as loud as F430, no instant "kaboom" to scare the neighbors, but a very nice exhaust note, perfect IMHO.
- front: kind of Maserati, too round, front lights OTT (they thought too much about LED effects, I'd say leave it to Audi)
I'm undecided about the rear, quite big, but unique and I like the rear lights. The silly exhaust layout is not too eye-catching, so I could live with it.
Ferrari showed an intro movie before the car was unveiled with classic black and white pictures of women in vintage Ferraris. Could have been Ingrid Bergman in an old California, but I'm not sure... but target audience should be clear
(it was not allowed to take pictures which I obeyed)
