    Yes, Panamera is the official name.

    "Social acceptance" should be better in W. Europe than for the Cayenne.

    Keep in mind that Panamera is designed for emerging markets mainly. It will be Porsche's second emerging market model after the Cayenne.

    I'm sure it'll be a fine car but I'm not sure if it's for me or not for one the price will be too much for me and have my 3 kids mess it up with food and everything else inside.
    But if they come up with a 2+2 front engine that would be a different story.

    To be honest with our Strong economy (NOT) I'd rather sit on that money for the time being.

    Panamera is definitely not going to be a "cheap" car. By the way there is no cheap Porsche.

    If you are to rank the various model line-up (from "cheap" to expensive")

    Boxster
    Cayman
    Cayenne
    911 & Panamera

    So an "affordable" way to carry the kids and the mess is to drive a Cayenne.

    For that we have Suburbans that works best for the kids .
