this is a really wierd thing, somedays i like it somedays i dont. i guess my mind wont be settled until i see it in the flesh.
Same here. Though I understand the reason for the car, I don't believe it fits in with the Ferrari models. The car has a feminine footprint (I suspect by design to attract women buyers) and that alone makes the car much less desirable especially for present Ferrari owners.![]()
I have no doubt it will sell and attract new buyers but I am afraid they have tarnished the brand image by doing so.![]()

reminds of the SL a bit, only that the new SL BS is miles ahead of this Ferrari thing and will probably cost less....
Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series cost 310000 Euro in Germany with Mwst.![]()

SO, California with base price in 165000 Euro (with Mwst. in Germany) is much, much cheaper...

Tough call for 430 owners like Nick; I would think that you upgrade to the Cali IF:
- you are starting to think the 430 looks dated
- the 430 ride and noise is starting to grate on you
- you find yourself cruising more than driving and wondering if a luxury/performance compromise more on the luxury side wouldn't be more appealing for the driving you really do
- you need more storage space (really...!)
BUT - you wait for the real 430 replacement if:
- the 430 handling convinces you that you could never drive a car that was not mid-engine
- the 430 performance is starting to seem a bit mundane... need a bigger shot of adrenaline
- you find yourself making sharp distinctions between Ferraris for posing and Ferraris for driving - and you know which camp you fall into
