The Porsche photo favors the car, whereas the shot of the corvette doesn't do it any good. And how about that color! What would happen if you redressed the cars with the opposite shade?
The japanese are a world of their own, it's actually good that they have a different style. However, I don't think that the GTR falls into the "ricer" category.
I have to say though, that my favorite Nissan for now is still the Skyline 34 Z-tune. But, as many other people here, I've never even sat in any other fast Nissan besides the S16 and 350Z, so I don't really want to comment.
If I were to choose a Corvette, it would always be a '67 427 Coupe. In red.

Yeah, sorry but had I been of car-buying age in 1967, regardless of which car was the "better" vehicle to drive, it wouldn't have mattered... I'd own that Corvette, period.
Never was much of a fan, styling-wise, of the Ferrari GTO... For that matter, I couldn't give two hoots for the Daytona either.
Now that James Coburn SWB California Spyder that just fetched almost $11 million, now THAT'S a Ferrari!!!!

I couldn't agree more. Gorgeous, clean lines. I wish I could buy a TT or GT3 that looked more like that without all the gratuitous, affected slats and vents and holes.

You got that right Nug.
I decided to get a dark unit (slate grey) to downplay the slatty-wingy-venty. 
Thought of using my sawzall on the wing in the showroom on my delivery day; they claimed they didn't have a long enough extension cord for me to borrow.
