Sad.
But has anyone else noticed when these supercars have accidents, almost irrespective of speed, they always seem break off into pieces (Driver compartment - Engine bay - Rear section) or disintegrate into dozens of pieces?
Very much unlike a "normal" car which usually just wads up.

I think speed is not the primary cause of death, stupidity is. He is probably being stupid and driving way too fast for the condition.
I am actually glad that he died, Darwinism at work. He is one of those who
gives speed a bad name, he is one of those whom governments made examples of about 'speed kills'.

It's not the age. There are young pro drivers that would put anyone to shame on the road.

It's the case with all supercars. The driver and passengers are protected in a very strong monqoue which we can see is fully intact. The body shell and the rest of the car is designed to break into pieces by absorbing all the energy imposed on the car during a crash. F1 cars are designed in this way as well which is why you can crash an F1 car at speeds of 320km/h and walk away without a single bruise on your body.
