Yeh, not a lot of sportcar interest beyond German and Italian cars on this forum I am afraid.
Yes you get the occasional Corvette or Nissan GTR spark of interest when it comes to challenging the German/Italian big-boys, but not much beyond that.

The ownwer now is a russian guy called Nikolay Smolensky who bought the company at the age of 24 in 2004.
His father a Russian oligarch gave him Pounds15million as pocket money for his first foray in the world of business.
I am not sure what is worse a russian owning very British TVR or an Indian owning Jaguar and Land Rover.

Came very close to ordering the Tuscan S in 2003/4.
Dealership gave he one for a day and it is still the most angry car I've ever driven.
Problem was that after a day's moderate usage, the engine developed heating problems, the rear boot stopped closing shut, the front bonnet latch became detached on one side and my ears wanted to bleed from the constant and amazing aural assault.

"edge of death"? Without anti lock or airbags? Somehow I don't think every driver in every car up through the early to mid 90's thought of their sunday drives as being on the "edge of death". Airbags are a safety feature, antilock brakes exist to help take the bad out of bad driver.
