First F142 test mule ?
The most likely option since the F142 is said to be slightly smaller than current F430.

Way optimistic acceleration figures for such specs.
Why? A Ruf 550 Turbo will do 0-200 km/h in under 10,5 seconds, and with 200 kg more.![]()

Cause it's of a different breed. It's a 911 with all the weight over the rear axle which means it has no problem getting all the 550hp and 780Nm down to the ground. It's AWD as well.
So with that being said the acceleration figures are pure fantasy.

There were some rumours mentioning 3,6l V8 DI Biturbo with about 600hp.
However, it now seems the F142 will get a NA 4,8l V8 while the first car that will feature V8 Biturbo and all those green gadgets - energy recuperation, mild hybrid system as in F1 in 2009 etc. - will be the Enzo successor, which will show the direction Ferrari will take in the future.
Then in 2014, the F142 facelift/successor will get greener as well.
I really think it makes sense to make the enzo successor by far the first Ferrari with new, greener approach.

I don't think so. Why? Lamborghini has a LP560-4 with 560hp, the facelifted 997 turbo will have something like 520hp, with power pack even more. Ferrari already uses the V8-DI in the California and the Scuderia has 510hp. If Ferrari wants to keep the pace, they have to do something. So I really think we will see a biturbo-V8 with something like 550 to 570hp in the F430 successor.![]()

Do you think 570hp NA 4,8l V8 DI would be not good enough for keeping the pace ?![]()

Agree Rossi.
Kreso, I am not insisting on the fact there will be 4,8l V8 DI with exactly 570hp. But the 4,8l V8 is likely to come. We will se.
Do you have any solid info ?
You said that 70% of my info is not accurate so...![]()

Forgot about the most important argument, why it has to be a biturbo-DI-V8 with close to 600hp:
I REALLY WANT ONE!
(and if it's just because to not be overtaken by those goddammit 997 turbos any longer)
