    Differences between power kit / turbo s

    2 weeks after I got the power kit installed Porsche announced the turbo S. Does anybody know the technical differences (not the known data) between power kit and turbo S ?

    what year turbo are you speaking of?

    The article I read said that the power kit was an extra 40 hp with some exhaust. There was never any information beyond the ad, and a US dealer saw the ad, and to this day they cannot price the kit or installation, and have no clue about the option beyond a Porsche ad I found and they had never seen. Wow, they are top 5 dealer in US market. It has been 3 months since I asked. Got tired of waiting and ordered a Turbo S with 550 hp. Wanted the Panorama roof anyway.

    Is panorama roof standard on the MY09 Turbo S?

    Panorama is extra, just like floor mats. The CTT 08 did not have the Pano, and I wanted, besides the power.

    I buy quite a few Porsche's, and loss on 08 CTT will be less than $5k.

    I just added a secondary cat bypass on my 08 CTT and it feels like it added about 20hp from the backpressure relief. Have you considered doing something like that before going in on a turbo S?

    Thank you for sharing the with us however would you be able to tell us a little bit more? you added a secondary cat bypass? is this easy to do and doesn't it not void warantee? Expensive and readily available? Does it make difference in the sound? a couple of words about the opportunity would be appreciated.

    Did you find out the answer to this? I also have a TT08 and am wondering what the power kit offers.

    Last weekend I got more information. The hardware is the same. Only the software is different but they did not told me further details.
