    Pics Gt2, Turbo ( MS)

    I was at the Paul Ricard circuit these last two days for a training.
    There were some nice cars.
    Here a few bad quality pics.
    This GT2 white and black looked stunning !

    Check the rims of this red GT2. Made in japan...can't remmeber the name of it, but made in magnésium ....very light.
    Most guys put these rims on for the Porsche cup races

    And some of you might remember this car when it was still black.
    It was the first 997 Turbo modified by Manthey racing, back in august 2006.
    I had posted some pics of it at the ring + it came up again on some other posts.
    Now it looks like a RS

    What I know is that he has taken everything possible out of the car to gain weight.
    Changed the exaust, not sure about the rest of the engine.
    Has the BBS Manthey magnesium rims.
    Had the whole suspension changed .

    This guy is a track freak . When he bought the 997 TT there was no GT3 or Gt2 997. Except for the orange decals, everything else has been changed in order to be faster on the track.

    I wouldn't mind under-skin mods... in fact I'd appreciate them when executed smartly... but the exterior stuff I don't like... having said that I recently read (in EVO I believe) about two heavily tuned 997TTs pitted against a stock one, on a twisty track, and the stock one lapped better times! sometimes you can't beat the billions $$$ invested by the factory to put together the ultimate set-up... but that is rare... most cars can always use a twist here and a turn there...
