    Cayenne GTS MY09

    I am awaiting my new Cayenne GTS to be delivered soon. As i have heard it should be MY09.

    Does anybody already got a new cayenne based on MY09?

    I am looking for photos of some of the major changes like PCM3 or iPod/MusicPlayer interface e.g. ...

    Is there anyone who already have experience with this new MY09 model? Any photos are welcome as well

    Thanks in advance for any news or pics ...

    I don't believe MY09 has been released yet, very soon though.

    Porsche told me that my car has been build last week and that it is a MY09. In that case there should be someone else who probably also have such a MY09 build ... ??

    09 was supposed to be July switchover in production or just after the summer shutdown

    I now got the information that Cayenne MY09 production started since June 1st 2008.

    It is very possible. Many manufacturers started releasing the model years a bit earlier this year.

    Congratulations with your GTS, lovely car ! Great pictures, hope she has a garage to keep her warm (smile) I like the color as people here tend to opt for red and nordic gold.

    Yes I can - It is just amazing!

    PCM3 with the Touchscreen is really great! It is easy to handle and it has many individual setup options.

    As i am using an iPhone i have connected it to the new iPod interface - and that is also a perfect integrated solution.

    You can lookup your songs like you do it with the iPod/iPhone (e.g. album, title, interpret ...). In addtion to that any playlist which you have created with iTunes is automatically available on the PCM screen. So you can have direct acess via a playlist which you have created in advance.

    All in all a very good integration and a really good handling due to the touchscreen....

    So hooking the iPhone via the iPod interface (I'm assuming Porsche supplies the cable) controls the iPod features and the phone as well or is it only connecting the iPod features and GSM operation via Bluetooth?

    As far as i know it is like you've said:

    I have an additional phone integrated in PCM with an own sim - therefore i haven't done a test with my mobile connected via bluetooth. I will try to do that on the comming weekend and then let you know how it works.

    Mine is June production. I was told by my dealer that mine is a MY09.

    I now got the information that Cayenne MY09 production started since June 1st 2008.
