    Placed my order today

    I finaly handed my check to my dealer today. the specks are as follow:

    2009 997 Turbo Cab
    Meteor Grey
    Black top
    Black/Sandbeige interior

    Please let me know your thoughts, I hope i am not missing anything.

    Expected delivery date is late January/early february 2009. Now the hard part, waiting for my car to be delivered.

    Nice specs. You might want to add 220.

    I am not sure which phone option you should order but here are some of the new options:
      618 Mobile phone preparation with console (Bluetooth HFP)
      619 Mobile phone preparation (Bluetooth HFP)
      666 GSM Quad-band telephone module ( Bluetooth SAP)
      669 Cordless active handset for telephone module
      671 PCM Voice Control
      686 XM Radio

    bet you cant wait ...it may be in yourt order already by imo the carbon switch panel would go well with the rest of your order and the biege interior...it gets rid of the aluminium vent stuff and replaces it with cf and leather covered slats + theres a strip of cf where the windshield meets the glass....always leather covered pcm also to get rid of more volcano grey...oh, is the cf door sill the illuminated turbo variant, i think that always looks good...is lsd now std , if not check that box for sure

    Great specs !

    The waiting is the worst part... I advise you to put the order papers away somewhere, not look at them every day and then try not to think at the car at all for a few months. Time will pass much quicker then... But I know it is not easy !

    Very Nice.. I was under the belief that PCM in Leather was no longer an option since PCM was redesigned and now painted black rather than Volcano. I hope your are able to get it in leather.

    Carbon Switch Panel is already on his order EAD. It is an expensive but great option if you like carbon. I have it.

    If doing the leather sunvisors, you may want to consider the leather dome lamp cover XZD

    Many thanks sparkhill I did ask for the 220 but the salesman told me that it would be incompatible with PASM. Is this true?

    I looked at that piece also. (coupe version) If I didn't do stitching I would have gone that route also.

    There was talk on another board that 220 only became available on 09s about a week ago. Have your dealer try to input it again in your order.
