Performance diff's between 997S cabrio n coupe
Hello. Been breezin' around town in my Boxster S. Love it in every regard, though sometimes wish I'd have a little more space for incidentals.
For nothing other than pure mental exercise, I thought about the other convertible with a bit more room -namely, the Carrera S cabriolet, and how it compares to its hardtop brethren. Does it retain sufficient chassis stiffness? Do spirited drivers enjoy the ride enough to consider it about as dynamic as the coupe?
I've been drawn more towards the 911 coupes than cabriolets (and the opposite about Boxsters and Caymans), but more for aesthetics than anything else. I'd be curious to hear what other folks have to say about actual performance -especially from those who have driven both.
