    Hmnn, no doubt they gave him a heavily modified GT-R.

    This car continues to impress (except the German press). I wonder why?

    Skylines and GTR's are so insanely popular in Australia and the UK that its hard to disagree how amazing this Japanese Anomaly is. Though I doubt Jeremy Clarkson got a modified GTR because he's JEREMY F%$KING CLARKSON. This is not some clueless journalist (well to some) who doesn't know a Mondeo from a Escort. Besides he didn't really give it a great review in this article compared to other publications.

    I think after years of reading and listening to Clarkson, you know how to understand what he was saying. He really liked it. I always watch for the few words below the technical info, the give it all away. In this case they say "unfathomably good". That's all you need to know.

    What he writes, he writes for entertainment. He is an entertainer above all else, the car info in there is second only to that. We have to understand that he has a reputation to live up to and you are only as good as your last article in this business.

    I haven't driven the GTR, but when you say that it is too good to enjoy, then I answer back that you haven't driven that specific car in the way it is meant to be driven.

    It's like not enjoying a GT3 because you took it to a downtown mall in traffic over broken roads.

    Now I know exactly what he would mean if we were discussing audi, for example, but having experience with the great 350Z, I think that the GTR simply wouldn't have this issue.
