slightly off topic, but have you tried phototshop express, ron? it's web-based and free https://www.photoshop.com/express/index.html
but it has less features than the regular photoshop...

You know what, the facelift doesn't make the original 997 look outdated. Whenever BMW or Mercedes facelifts its cars, the original looks super old (E46, anyone).
The front doesn't look much better. It looks to be changed for change sake. The rear, however, is fantastic! I love the valance, especially.

A question to all then..as I was about to pull the trigger last week on a C4S Cab, and the dealer would only take 3k off, I decided to wait for PDK(wife mandate) 
. Is it worth waiting or get the 2008?
Are the differences between the 08/ 09 warrant waiting at this point? I mean, since the FL is basically here the 08 should be somewhat discounted...no?, 5 dealers would not drop the prices that much so I walked and waited.
The performance between the 2 seems minimal...I'm new to Porsche, you thoughtful thoughts would be most welcomed.

Yeah good point.
Kinda looks like just another model in the lineup.
Its a facelift and I dont think there is any real intention to make it look so fresh - just updating some things to newer technology. The 996 to 997 was a major refresh and I am sure that the 998 will be more dramatic...
Its good infact that there are quite a few technological changes in this facelift....

Definitely get the FL. No doubt about it. You are not going to see a significant price discount on 2008's because I believe the 2009's will get a sharp increase. If I didn't have a 997S already, and I was ready to buy, I would get the 2009 FL over the 2008.
