    HELP! Looking for specific picture from NBR

    Someone once posted a really cool picture of a - I believe 997/GT3/GT2 going thru Karussell at the Ring.
    The pic is taken from the exit of the Karussell, with the 997 coming from the left, round the bend.
    The poster asked for a link to a hires version of this picture.
    I have tried the Rennteam search function, but it's pretty useless, as it only displays 50 search results.

    Please help if you can. A hires version would be great.

    Looks something like this, only way cooler, and taken from the exit (to the right, outside the picture).

    Doc, are you talking about the one's Jochen does from FrozenSpeed at the Carousel? Or is that the Mini Carousel?

    Hang on, I have one, not in the right position tho'..gimme a second..or two...

    Hey resB, nope that's not the one.
    You can see all of the Karussell corner in the picture, and you have a 997 of some sort on the bottom centre of the picture going fast out of the turn.
    You see mainly asphalt and (I believe) those red/white stripes on the curb.

    Very contrasty pic, and it could be a Porsche PR shot - except I dont think Porsc he would ever show one of their regular production cars at a track.

    ARGH! Still can't find the picture. Tried searching all possible combinations of words and tags, and still nothing. Please help if you can...before I end up in a straight jacket...

    The middle one is similar in tone and contrast. Looks a lot like the first one I posted, only taken from the exit of the turn, not the entry

    Nope. sorry. Thats Ben Lovejoy's pic, and I have searched all his and found nothing. Ill do a sketch to help u.
    Strange, cuz the picture in question was posted here on Rennteam in 2007 or 06 by someone who needed a hires version of it, so I know for a fact that it is here.

    Something like this.
    Not sure about the red/white stripes on the curb. Dont think Karussell has those.
    Sorry about the crappy sketch. No wacomboard available - hope u get the idea anyways.

    The photoshop/image style was a lot like the TopGear way of filming. Dramatic with high contrasts. The 997's nose was almost next to the photographer.

    I'll have a look for you on the press site, but I don't think this is an official porsche pic (I would have had it as a WP then for a long time ) I'll get back to you!

    Nope, can't find it. All the official GT3 pics are with a white car. Sorry mate.
