    It would also be no faster than the 355 PS C2S on the Autobahn.

    Widebody looks to much like Koenig-Tunig out of the late 80s. Dont like it at all!

    Here are the changes for Model Year 2009 that include Launch Control, incresed HP, and MOSTLY, PDK (paddles)

    Rennteam note: Sorry guys, we had to remove this file but I guess this isn't a problem since the specs are already out.

    The important items are:

    * Seat ventilation for standard and comfort seats(541)
    * Steering wheel heating, only in conj. w. seat heating and PDK(345)

    I can see current owners drooling over these.

    2. Reliability (Look at all the F cars)

    Now... If you search my posts for the past 18 months I predicted the FL would appear at this time, while many were claiming it would take much longer - NOT.

    Another prediction... we'll shortly see an oversupply of used 997s on the market, which will depress valuations further. It happened with the 996 and it will be worse with the 997 (because there are more of those out there).

    Yep, and now we know why manufacturers change body styles. Cause people like me gotta have the next thing. I will do a post when my 09 turbo with PDK paddles hits the states.

    Larger wheel width and offset at rear for 18-inch Carrera IV wheels on C2 models
    (10.5J x 18 ET 60)

    does that mean all models will be wide body?

    Somebody, somewhere, broke the Porsche embargo

    All the goodies are out in an official PDF, the one mentioned in some posts above, including starting production dates.

    The only unknowns are the price, the PDK interior design, and the actual performance.

    >100.000 997s have hit the streets worldwide, but I guess the FL will be a lot more expensive. At least with PDK and all extras. That will work against a severe price drop for the current 997.

    Did anyone notice that: LSD standard on C4 models?
    (optional on C2)
    Sports suspension with LSD now available in the US!

    Also new colors:
    Aqua blue metallic
    Cream white (maybe similar to Caffe latte?)
    Nordic gold now a special color.

    New PCM with touchscreen, Bluetooth, iPod input, TV, XM radio, black finish (bye bye Vulcan Grey)
    Third-party sat nav in Japan and China

    And last but not least, NEW KEY!

    who will want to watch TV in a Porsche... ey ey ey

    + 30 HP sounds promising and 7 speed PDK thats what we wanted to see. Sure that that performance is much better with that setup.

    Wasnt sure if I really want to have a new car but this sounds soooo promising... eyyyy want it

    PDK linked with Sports Chrono will be a sport set up.... that puts this option back on my list , but the new improved manual gearbox should be a dream , as the 'old' on is already so good .. so
