Help needed in Porsche purchase decision
Hi everyone
I know it sounds a bit strange, but here it goes:
1) my problem:
I would like to purchase my first Porsche (preferably a 997 S) yet I don't want to pay more than 90.000 EUR for the car, which leeds me to
2) my dilemma:
a) I could leave out a few options and get a new 997S, or
b) I could buy a used 997S with more options and 5-10k (or more?) mileage on it, or
c) I could get a new 997 with all options I want
Now this, of course, isn't too hard to answer you will say. Most of you would probably suggest me to opt for choice "c)"
BUT
I am planning to sell the car after 4 years!! (to get a newer model)
- If I took the used 997S it would already have had 2 previous owners and be a used-used car!
- If I took the new 997S it would get hard to sell it because of the lack of many options!
- If I took the 997 it would probably have most of the options the 997S has as standard (xenon, 20mm suspension, 19 wheels, etc) so the car would also be hard to sell, since people would go directly for the 997S in that case, no??
- plus I prefer the 997S personnally
This is really a tough decision for me, and I would be most thankful if you experts could give me your suggestions, opinions and ideas! I'd really appreciate it!
