    PICS: GT Silver

    I have seen a Carrara GT in GT silver today, that's really match modern Porsche!

    Anyone have pic of a GT3 in GT Silver, I think that may look cool!

    FWIW, what I noticed about GT Silver is that it seems to be Arctic Silver but with much bigger flecks of sparkle in it. I had the impression that the difference was only evident very close up. But that was showroom lighting.

    I don't think they look similar, Arctic silver is more bright and come with less texture.

    I really like the metal feel of GT Silver.

    Yes AS has smaller metallic flakes if that's what you mean.
    You might be right about the relative brightness.

    Here's a photo of the two (at least that's what the file name says; not my photo).

    GT Silver fits, in my opinion, perfectly to the GT3. It has a more metallic shine due to a darker shade of grey. Yet it has a high remaining reflectivity which separates it from Seal or Meteor Grey.

    It is a nice variation of the common grey or silver cars out there, distinct but elegant. Question remains, when silver cars've overcome, how will GT Silver fair.

    I like it. GT Silver would be my second choice if I didn't get black on a 997TT. Or at least, it would be a tie with red.
