BMW X6 Sighting

On my way back from Austria, I met a BMW X6 on the Autobahn A8. My wife immediately fell in love with it, she couldn't believe this is a SUV. It looks a bit strange from the rear but very sexy from the front or side. This thing is HUGE, it isn't a sporty upgrade of the X3 or X5, it looked bigger than the X5, maybe because of the round shape.
The 400+ HP version should be a blast to drive, the straightline performance is almost in the Cayenne Turbo range.

I am still struggling with the shape especially her 'backside'

again will probably grow on me but for the moment I am not desperate to change my X5

I couldn't swallow the way it looks from the rear, the hump and round bottom just dont look like a nice design. We'll see in real life and judge later.

I have seen 1 a couple feet in front of me in a parking lot, it did not appear very large to me. It was a refreshing shape.

The car looks great! I wanted to order one as my daily driver but they dont offer the adaptive cruise control. As I do too much Autobahn in Switzerland and Austria this is a must have for me! Its a pity - this car is indeed one of the nicest SUVs on the market.

...it's size numbers ARE the same in comparison to X5 (ignoring shape difference

), except for only two figures:
rear seat area car height
overall length (X6 is a little longer)

...extra length is added at the space between rear wheel center and the car tail end...

...driving CayenneTT, I would NOT really worry of X6 performance on a hiway...

spot on! saw a test of this car(?) on TV and the first thought was "that was the inspiration for the X6", it's not even a copy...
