    little thought about the 430 SCUDERIA.......

    Just went to the dealer to check out the 1st 430 SCUDERIA here. I have to say I have no feeling of the car. I feel strange about that, because I love Ferrari and especially those racing edition. This is the 1st Ferrari that do not impress me at all. Maybe I need to test drive it in order to fall in love with it. The look just don't have the x-factor. This is the 1st time that I think not all Ferrari look great. I can't believe that.

    The reason is probably related to its similarity to the 430. Other than some exterior cosmetic changes, the two cars look alike. Thus, nothing new from a styling standpoint. Performance enhancements is what the Scud is all about.

    It is like looking at a 997, 997S, 9974S, 997TT, 997GT3, and 997GT2.

    thats because porsche owners aren't too anal about the looks of their cars.. something thats for ferrari owners clearly number one priority. And thats exactly why i agree with the initial post.. looks like a 430 with some cheap plastic parts that do not fit it. BUT i have to see it first.

    ps. i dont think porsche owners are bothered when they see a slightly different 997, an 4S, instead of their GT3, for instance. I think they'd wave and smile when they see one

    i hate to say it, but Porsche has joined the ranks of Toyota... that's why I sold my 997 C2S Cab., and ordered a Scuderia... if anything, I may still one day be interested in a 997 GT3RS MKII... only porsche with a soul... sorry P fans!

    That's what i think too.

    Although I am not impress with the look, but I think this would be one of the best drivers car.

    The great thing about Porsche's is the amount of mod's available. Chipping, exhaust, body kits, wheels , interior options etc. You can buy a 996TT and get 700 hp out of it, buy a Cayenne for your wife and it would still be less expensive then buying a Ferrari, which has all kinds of soul, but a whole lot of ego to go along with it. Having said that, I love the 360CS, and I'm sure the 430 Scud is fantastic as well.
