Dane:that's what I have heard... BUT, I don't know if this is really true?!
2 weeks ago I was sure that there will be no WP
All I really know is that lizard green will be offered in 2019 (for 911).
Hard to imagine that this color will be offered on the 992. So, Porsche will have to produce more 991.2 RS.
Therefore they will need the filter (for the l
Why would the color not be offered on 992 ? Would suit the car as much as 991 and we have seen that lava orange first offered only on the RS made it slowly to the whole brand ( macan , 718 etc... )

will be interesting to see how they will fit the filter ...
I don't believe in the filter
It can be anything . With filter until end of the year or later . Without filter with EU production until August , and then ROW cars until end of production .....

Dane:KresoF1:WP will be an option. Very expensive option. Since I do not like WP wheels at all I am not that excited.
latest rumor that I have heard:
- first cars only without WP
- after the summer (with filter) and WP
Also some changes on the engine possible? Maybe the rumored 4.2?
Why is the "scripture" on the model car invisible? Only because of "Weissach"?
Same happened to the GT3 with the touring option
Why do people keep repeating the 4.2L 'rumor' dreamed up by some bozos on Rennlist?

"Rennteam members really believe that Porsche will offer two engines for 991.2 GT3 RS? 4.0 without filter for RS and 4.2 with filter for WP? LOL!!!"
Haha, they must find these threads hilarious.. to all in Stuttgart..

Back in the days, when I wrote that my former Panamera Turbo S was delayed because of issues with the turbo chargers from Borg Warner, I got immediately corrected via email that the affected chargers were made by IHI. 😂
So yes, Porsche is reading and monitoring this forum (like many others) but lately, they do it more stealth than in the past, which is a shame.

Forgot the latest rumors:
1. Over 3000 cars planned for production and this is a very conservative number.
2. The smaller batch will be produced before the Sept. 1st "deadline", more cars will be available after that, cars will definetely have a particulate filter and yes, sound will be slightly(?) affected.
3. Engine with particulate filter will be shared with the limited ed Speedster as well.
4. Weissach package available for second batch of cars with particulate filter only.
5. There are still rumors that the engine with particulate filter is a 4.2 l engine with 540 hp (4.0 l has 520 hp). The source of this information is not an official one but he claims he has this information from a supplier. I tried to find out if this is true but nobody seems to know (or maybe it is just BS). I cannot see Porsche pissing off customers with two engines but who knows... 😧
6. Don't panic: If you can't get a GT3 RS now, try to get one from the second batch, which is rumored to be produced right into the year 2019...so at least a couple of thousands car (this is why I meant that the 3000 are a conservative estimate).
7. GT3 won't be available anymore past August (it seems April is the last production month for the GT3, with May, June and July for the Touring).
Again: RUMORS. Take them with a grain of salt...

noone1:Better order quick so you can get the last GT3 w/o Particulate Filter.
Nope, I'm good...
Maybe you should order one with an engine? 🤗

Saw that pic on FB as well, the green looks more in line with what the person from RL described from their factory sighting. Also an interesting comment on the end of that thread:
Just returned from a Porsche Ice event and info is that there will be WP but not yet. Clubsport version will have normal steel cage, no alu. Car will be produced in two turns, and the WP verions will be offered in the second turn only, probably early 2019. Info also is that yellow is std, free colour. Expected production time turn one is may-july 2018, (I have comfirmed info on cars with production date on each of the three montsh, so the story about just two months is incrrect.) Then next turn will depend on demand and capasity. I wouldn´t mind too much about the 13hp, there was no info on that, but anyway this car is about grip.
