Review of Spyker with lots of pics
Hi guys,
I was able to get the Spyker to drive for another weekend and managed to get a thorough feel for the car to make better comparisons to my other vehicles.
I drove the car around with the roof down in the full blaze of the sun, I'm burnt like a tomatoe this evening, but at least it was worth it!
It has a very unique feel especially with the "frameless" windows and windscreen, feels like you're driving around in a mobile planetarium.
I drove the car around 180 miles and stopped by quite a few scenic spots to take some photos.
People specifically went out of their way to stop by to come have a closer look at the car where as I've never had that happen in any of my previous cars. I guess it helps that it is the first and only one in the country at the moment.
Looks as if it's ready to take off here
I got more used to the car as the day went on and I decided to call it a day for Saturday.
Some shots outside at night.
Now for the start of day 2 (Sunday)
Today a good friend of mine came by to see the car and we decided to go for a drive, I let him drive the Carrera behind me and we swapped briefly along the way.
The Carrera felt really relaxing to drive compared to the Spyker, the steering, clutch, gears are so much more smoother. When you drive them back to back you really realise how raw of a car the Spyker really is. I guess in a way that's what makes it so much fun!
Some more pics of the duo.
After this weekend, I'm not really sure if I'd buy one. The demo was quite a rough car and you could see it has had a hard life so lots of the parts showed signs of excessive wear, particularly the roof. I'd need to see a brand new one to make a better conclusion.
Last pics of the Spyker with the Murcielago, I just thought it would look cool seeing that their both similar in colour and both cars have scissor doors
Hope you have enjoyed this not so very informative review
