    Cayman weight saving mods?

    Anyone made RS type mods to their cayman?

    Is it easy to replace seats with carbon fibre buckets? Will Porsche fit the GT3 club sport seats as a dealer fit extra?

    What other weight savings mods are being tried?

    What options are heavy and best avoided to keep weight down?

    I think the new folding Carbon racing seats in the new 997 GT2 will become optional on all the sportscar models for MY2009...

    how about upgrading your brake to PCCB and wheels to a lighter model???

    and of course, loss some weight might help, especially for people like myself who is a bit overweight...

    Dictching the PCM / CD head unit must be good for 2Kg too ;

    All of the internal trim, carpets, door coverings, stereo system, any sound proofing.

    If you wanted to go real extreme you could look at having plastic replacements fabricated for the side and rear windows and remove the electric window motors from the doors!

    Ooo... You could have a field day! Would never do it myself mind!!

    Yes, I think lyposuction will make the biggest difference after kicking the passenger out.
