    This combo?

    Black with Carrera Red interior.

    Is this a 'problem' combo do you reckon?
    I've stressed over colours for ages but finally settled on black, just thought black/black might be a bit boring so considered the Carrera red. I hardly ever see Turbo's so not sure if this is a strange combination, looks good on the configurator.

    You should go for gold-painted wheels. No kidding.

    Red, gold, black; stands for sex, money and death.

    Blk/Rd would look cool; it's a classic combo (isn't it?). BUT you have to have the personality to "support" it.

    Funny, was just talking to my Dealer about that very combo yesterday. I had a 1990 Corvette with that combo, and actually got to like it very much. Didn't order it, was sitting on the showroom floor. I am getting a little tired of black interiors, and am contemplating something different too.

    This past Sunday I saw a C4S Cabrio, Basalt w/ Red Int. Looked very nice. Sticker on the car was $122k!

    If you want to see what it would look like the car I mentioned above is in the outside lot at the Porsche dealer in Freeport L.I..

    I remember seeing some 911's in the 70's with this combo and they looked great. Another great combo was black with a "cork" color interior.

    MMD: The personality! Lol, well I'm pretty shy and quiet and I've never worn a pair of wrap around shades in my life so maybe it's not for me then.

    Raklaw: Black/black is fine but I had originally flirted with getting a very loud exterior, Guards red or White, when I backed down on that through lack of courage I thought a loud interior might go some way towards bolstering my ego!

    Strad:Freeport is a little bit of a commute for me but thanks all the same ;-)

    964: In the 70's! Is that combo so rare then? Anybody seen it on a 997T?

    LoL!! I was attempting to tell "RAKLAW' whom I noticed lives in Westchester County NY, about an hour (depending) from Freeport L.I.

    Why you wouldnt want to take the trip? LoL!!

    Somewhere I saw a pic of a 2 tone red/black which looked better than all red. Can't locate that pic though.

    BTW, IMO, I'd go with the richest most saturated red avail. The Terra Cotta and black wouldn't do it for me.

    Not sure exactly "how rare", I just remember seeing that combination more often during that era, than today.

    Black over Red is pure classic. Black over Natural Brown is more refined in my opinion, but if you're ordering a turbo...be bold.

    Bill, more power to you for ordering a black car. As anal as I can be about keeping my car clean I can never bring myself to pull the trigger on a non-metallic black. Basalt possibly, but not straight black.
