    I was looking for something to buy...

    I was looking for something to buy to control my urge to own a new 997 GT3...as I'm not going to be able to secure a GT3 anytime soon I have decided to go for a MkII. In the meantime I bought a few models to compliment a GT3 RS I bought whilst at the Ring this year...Don't ask why, as I have no idea. Totally cool though.

    Already have this one. They're all 1:18 die cast models by AutoArt.









    This one is on back order but should be available this month.

    Looking cool! I almost bought the RS one, but then on the site, I saw that the centre of the rear wing was painted orange... did not look correct imo, so decided to not buy it. In the pic you show, the centre of the wing is black, like it should be, or not?

    i have in the black with orange strips.
    the wing is black, the sides are orange.
    looks cool. just like the real one

    I bought a model of my 997S, also black. Did not really know what to do with it until yesterday - I found a site that sells models of local police cars! Now I can set up a few chase scenes. I will include pictures when it arrives.

    Why why why would you show me this!!!!

    Its friday, markets are quite... I'm now seaching the internet for my very own 997 GT3 in white!!! must have one!!!

    By the way, where did you order yours from... Found Autoarts site, but they dont sell them on there.... Only found one place, and they are going for Pounds53.

    Rich, the GT3 in white is released this month (October) so you won't get one immediately.

    I bought mine from GT Models. Their site says 1-3 months for delivery but AutoArt themselves told me the white 997 GT3 will be available this month. Just depends when GT Models get their allocation....bloody hell it's as bad as Porsche themselves.

    I was just looking at a few photo's I took at the Ring earlier this year. The Orange and Black RS's rear wings are black all over, even the ends, so the model is right. Got me there for a second. On a Black/orange RS the tips of the wing is orange though.

    You are right. That is also my experience, but when I wanted to buy a model via the porsche shop, I saw on the pics that the wing was orange (on the model), which did not seem to be correct, so I didn't buy it
