    August Issue Car Magazine Carrera S

    Just picked up my copy this morning. Has a great 12 page article on a three day drive in a Carrera S. Loads of great new original images.....they seem to like it !

    Apologies.....the transformer to my scanner has gone AWOL so someone else will have to do the honours and upload it.

    Yeah - just picked up my copy. Great write up, they really love the car. And as you say, the photography is everything you come to expect from that publication - 997 looks much better in Arctic Silver than the 996 me thinks.

    Pity about the puncture though! I don't expect us mere mortals will get the "Cayenne sent from Stuttgart with a replacement 19" wheel" treatment however! Let's just hope it didn't blow at that "indicated 188mph"!!!

    Can someone sum up whether CAR likes the 997 or not? I assume they did, but do they think it completely squashes the 996? Do they NOT like anything about the 997?

    No it didn't, otherwise they would have had to send a flatbed truck and broom instead of a Cayenne and spare wheel.
