    Interesting choices of $150K+ GT cars in CY08 from the high-end "Big 3"....

    Dino w/folding roof; F setting up Fiat-subsidized leasing arm for US mkt; rumors of 5K+/yr Dino produc.....implics for 430Spider waitlists/resale values?

    AMG releasing revised (again) '09 SL63 and SL63BS...AMG sales in US have already collapsed (some 3-4 mos of new, unsold S/CL63/65 inventory in US)....

    P leaking vaporware re: 997TT 2.0 w/TBD perf/tech/cosmetic changes....

    And a slowing high-end economy in US and London....Germany will need to step up its F/P/AMG buying to help absorb all this supply coming on mkt ....or pricing/lease terms will need to be rather interesting to sell units.....

    One thing for sure, F will sell all the "Dinos" (2+2 with folding roof) they can make, even if they ship them all to the US

    AM, P and AMG will be left with their eyes to cry...

    For me the camo'd Ferraris look even worse than the Porsche's, which given the camouflage's purpose is a good thing.

    Most of those pics in that article have been kicking around a while. The first supposed "Dino" pic looks lame IMO.

    They say in that latest article it will be priced higher than DB9, Bentley CGT and of course 997TT...

    That is not going to be a cheap Ferrari indeed...

    I just hope they build enough of them so that you can go to your local Ferrari dealer and spec it out without having to wait forever on a waiting list.

    If they are priced above $200k, you might get your wish

    Anyone wants to guess how many cars above $150k are sold worldwide? Another 5K cars in that segment might just kill it.

    Yes, it will be interesting to see how Ferrari dealers handle their famous "preferred customer list" approach to sales, given that this is now the bottom of the range. I can't see that very many current F-owners who are on their preferred list are going to be interested in trading "down" for a Dino-baby. Perhaps it will end up a bit like the R8 - waiting lists indeed, but lists made up of a completely new set of potential owners that now buy... I'm not sure actually.. perhaps used Ferraris.

    The 63/65s are amazing but the 65s are pushing 300k~ for the limited edition... at that price point they are a bit... pointless.

    I'm not convinced that this is a good idea. I think the 'Dino' should remain a Maserati and leave the Ferrari brand undiluted.

    Is it just me or is the first picture very much like the Alfa 8C Competizione?
