Their tests are screwed up or something. The is no way an ancient 570-4 SC or standard Huracan is anywhere near a 918.

The Squadra Corse is the little brother of the Super Trofeo race version. If this car had Trofeo R tires, the time is very credible. Again, look at the track, huge power figures aren't any advantage there.

if they would test all cars with the latest tire technology the same day - ALL of them would have improved. Such a BS to compare times done 5 years ago or so......

I think it shows how capable the Huracan is. After test driving the R8 I believe into the capabilities of this car. Also - everyone which test drove the Performante claims it is the best and fastest car they ever driven.

My neighbor, the one who wants a 720 Spider now, sat in the Huracan a couple of times and said the same. He is not that tall but he is...how to put it...a "big" guy. Smiley Smiley My R8 offers a better room feel indeed but I like the Forged Carbon of the new Huracan Performante a lot.

I think it is possible to drop the seat a bit lower but I think only the mechanic can do that.

Will be tough to position the hybrid Huracan if it keeps the V10. Not counting the space needed which the huracan don’t have, the extra shot of 100+HP will move it into NA V12 Aventador territory.

So if they do hybrid, they will likely down size to a 4.0 V8 just to creat room.

Obviously it works. How well it works is another story. No one doubted that it works in theory, they doubted that it's responsible for much of the performance improvement. The Performante has less weight and more power, so while it does see more drag from the wing, it should be compensated by the power anyway since the wing isn't really that big.

WHY ? The Performante has more HP (30) and the difference is really small. Considering that the ALA is so earthshattering new technology and surprisingly is no lighter - the old car does surprisingly well

My Performante is here. We have discussed its many merits before. Its an outstanding vehicle. Despite being a Huracan it might as well be a completely different model. The engine sound is much more aggressive and "growly", handling is precise and confident with none of the wooliness in the steering the the Huracan assisted system had. The brakes are outstanding as well - very precise and predictable bite in road use - I cannot comment about the track yet. Here are some photos.

Looks good. Not a fan of the italuan flag, but otherwise good, and nice wheel color.

So, mind putting ALA to the test? Put some tape over the wing outlets and see how much straight line performance changes?
