Trip in 996 GT3

Wow... had the pleasure of joining a friend of mine in his brothers' GT3. He knows I am fond of porsches, so he brought the car with him when we met. I never drove a car like this! (well, his former car, the 993tt -what a blast!)
But this was awesome! The sound, the power,the acceleration!
You Hear you're going fat, you know it, but the car is so completely stable, so sweet!
Sorry, had to share this with you guys!
I visit this forum every day, and reading about porsches sometimes makes you forget how beautiful they are in real life!

The 996 GT3 is amazing
There is a bad leyend about it, but I must say that It's a completely lie. The car has a nobility handling, and always tells you every detail about the road. The powerful engine, the chassis, brakes... the sound... all in a GT3 is awesome

Awesome pics! The car of my friend was a silver 996 GT3 mk2. The former owner had the brake calipers, the seatbelts and the logo on the rear painted yellow. My friend had the yellow logo replaced by a black one, but the calipers and the seatbelts still yellow... looks stunning, though I find yellow calipers on a non-pccb car a bit tacky.
The gt3 rs is a dreamcar. I had the pleasure of sitting in one once. I love the alcantra, and the seats... those seats! Ever since, I dreamt of a car with seats like these!

The backet sport seats are very comfortable. Once you are belted, they offer you "a good place to live in"

hehe, I think he has got a 968, but yeah, what's the difference..

Joost, same thing happened to me 1 year a go, was taken with a friend to a military airfield not so far away and
there we were able to be the copilote's of 2 GT3's and several other Porsche's for an entire day.
Still the best day of my live, hadn't had so much fun in 1 day! The 996GT3 is my dreamcar ever since, and one day..

Man, I wonder if its hard to focus your eyes on the road and avoid hitting the car in front or trying to keep up with this group!
