Did you spec the house w/sportscar-friendly driveway inclines/detailing bays in garage, etc? Even in relatively car-obsessed CA, seemingly few architects/builders are particularly savvy re: elegant/functional garage/driveway/motorcourt designs.....
Many car nuts do spend much time in own garages/motorcourts admiring own cars, after hyperanalyzing dynamic nuances on favorite local roads....

I was impressed with the garage layout and your spec - nicely done sir - or as we used to say in England, "Nice One Cyril", which seems to have been replaced by "Suits You Sir"!

thanks, wbh & hog- courtyard came together a couple of years ago when my need for bays increased with cars and kids' bikes. didn't want one large garage so separate seemed to be way to go to add a couple bays. not really dressed up inside and no service areas as i don't tinker with cars myself. only other indulgence is running hot and cold water inside to clean in winter.

Well, I just went to the dealer again (had to drop off my A6 for service). I think your car may have a very close twin sometime in the future. They had a midnight C2S on the lot - beautiful color in person, photos do not do it justice.

wouldn't disagree with the choice, saxguy! it's really a chameleon, and depending on the light, can be blue, black, a bit of purple, and anywhere in between. hang in there on the wait!

Colour demographics are amazing. In the UK, Midnight blue is known as nightmare blue in the trade as it's so difficult to sell. I guess it's the cloudy miserable weather which means we don't get to see it's full potential. White has a similar stigma, probably due to the prolifigation of white vans.

Beautiful job building your car! I haven't seen Pilliar package b and c yet, you must take some photos of those options. Congrats again. By the way I was just at my dealer and on the showroom floor sat a Turbo waiting for its new owner to pick it up. It was midnight blue w/tan interior. Wow, you have to see midnight in person! Beautiful color!

just got my gt3/rs wheels. i really like the look, although was starting to get used to the stock wheels. these look a bit nicer with the blue. also had clear turn signal lenses installed.

Although these are my favourite set of wheels, I just can't get used to the way they look on a turbo. I don't know, it's hard to explain. I guess you could say that these wheels suits a c2s better than a turbo.
The turbo seems to need a more agresive design, more like the stock wheels wich I like a lot more than I used to.
Maybe if they were painted in gun metal, it would look even better.
