Hello,
currently i'm driving a 996 TT C and this is my 5th Porsche Cab in a series. Starting with a "standard" 993 Cab 4 and going on with several 996 Cab i was a great enthusiast and pro going for my 6th cab (997 TT C).
But then i got the chance to drive a 997 TT. And everything since then has changed. Due to better handling (runs like a train on rails) and more comfortable driving (no more wind noise coming through the roof) i now will stick with the coupe.
Additionally when i ordered my new Porsche (six months ago) there was uncertainty about the delievery times of the next generation of TT Cab and i was too keen on getting hands on a new 997 TT.
Furthermor me getting older, i feel it'll the better choice

ilnino, this is Bruce, we met several wks ago at MMCar. I would agree with Eric, buy what you like, for me, it would be a coupe, I dread rattles. Upon having a GT3 supercar, I hate to hear those little rattles, my C4S 996 is tighter than a drum, as much I love the convertible, I know I would go crazy with the rattles. Whatever you decide, owning and driving a Porsche is the top of the world, we're all fortunate to have decisions like this. Live once, don't let it pass you buy!
