    The cl class were the nicest looking merc's and looked the best about 2 years ago. The thing in the link above is UGLY.

    I'm not big on Mercedes but I love this one! I take it the difference between the CL and the CLK is backseat room or lack thereof?

    This is a gross oversimplification, but you can think of the CL as a 2 door S class, and the CLK as a 2 door upgraded C class, at least to understand the different levels of equipment content.

    the current CLK AMG sells for just over $65000 US, the new one is going to be over $140000?? Thats CL65 and SL55 AMG territory

The Black series car are sold in quantities of only 1000(If my memory doesn't fail me). This is a car for Mercedes Africandos who want a benz that the guy next door won't be able to get his hands on, and are off course willing to pay extra for it.

    That's still quite a price hike, I'd understand 90K but 140K is a bit steep, still pretty impressive though

    For 140k Euro, I rather be buying a 997 GT3 and pocket the change, or even a 997 turbo...

    It's not possible to translate prices in EUR directly over to USD as MB charges in each country what they think the market will bear. As the US market is harder to compete in, I would expect it to come in at less than 140 000 USD in the US.
