    US$ 1million per week salary for Kimi Raikkonen

    Interesting that M Schumacher's income was 65m, Raikkonen is held in high regard with $51m!

    Massa is "only" earning $8m per year and Alonzo who is a 2 time champion will earn $20m per year.

    Massa was elated when Ferrari "chose" him to be Schummi's sidekick. Of course he wasn't going to demand a huge salary. By racing for Ferrari, the endorsements will skyrocket and your career flourishes when you have the best car...

    In Schumi's abscence, F wanted the best alternative and Alonso was not in the works (I dont think he wanted to fall into MS' shadow, plus the word is he detests Ferrari). Of course he will demand a huge salary. Simple economics...

    Silly money. Does marlboro still foot the bill in return for some white stripes?

    Seems to me that some of the money should be pooled and distributed better for the other teams to put competitive cars on the track and to fill out the grid to 25 cars minimum.

    If the rest of the season is like aus, then its just going to be another boring parade.
