Yes.
New f430 will be show at press at mid 2008 and will be on sale for late 2008-start 2009.
The new f430 development is so huge that couldn't be more an entry level(for price and technology),so the decision to build new "dino"(not the definitive name).
New chassis for F142,magnetic ride and new onboard electronics.
Power output near 600hp.New F142 CS will be more track oriented than in the past.
New F430CS is faster than 599 on fiorano circuit
599 1.26,5 with new pirelli hero
430CS 1.25,5 with new pirelli hero

Ahem, that's nothing really new. Of course the F430 is due in late 2008 and that it will have magnetic ride is a logical conclusion.
And the "close to 600hp"-number seems menacing close to the poweroutput of the 599, so I wonder if it won't be more of a "close to 550hp"-number...

I just hope they don't increase the displacement by too much, it has lost that frisky sound as it, one more generation of this and everybody will forget how it was...
Hope it's body is not bigger also... what would be the point of that.
Great news for the 430CS, thanks!

BTW,
Did you read interview with some Ferrari technical guys at Auto Zeitung few months ago?
They claim that with EU5 norm only possible thing is DI Turbo engines for sportscars!
So, read between the lines...

In this particular case it seems to be more like "read the lines"...

My initial iformation was 550hp. However, because of the Gallardo, Porsche (TTS) and other possible competitors it appears Ferrari will have to kick up the hp. This is important because the replacement will be a five year model run.
