Hey guys...this is Andrews Dad and he has already driven the GT3 and will continue to. We are going to track together. These cars are meant to be driven and that's exactly what we'll do. I drove it this morning to a meeting and the biggest difference I've noticed between this and the 997s is the clutch feel and the sound. Both are much improved. Too early to feel the speed difference.

After you are back from riding/driving, could you evaluate what you mean with "much improved clutch feel"?

The clutch pedal right now is stiffer than the old 997S, but the feel and engagement of the pedal seems to be about like th e 997S. The gear box throws are much shorter than the 997S (however the 997S my dad had was without the short throw option). Also, the gear box is heavily weighted, sorta notchy... BUT its not vague, its bad when a gear box feels heaby, notchy, and vague... but the gates are easy to feel and find. I bet some of the notchy'ness will go away as the everything breaks in.

Awesome - now why can't my old man do something cool like that. He aint't even that old! He's in his mid fifties and actually way fitter and healthier than me, is a better driver (gotta be honest) and has more money than me!
I guess if I was living at home, I would MAKE him buy a cool car since its only the old man and ol' dear they are happy with a Jag and BMW.

I think they have too many spokes to be Mavic Ksyriums.... maybe they are Campy wheels?? what type bikes are they?
