MKW:RC:Tires and brakes are in my opinion the most important parts of a car... (of course you need an engine to produce power and a steering wheel to steer the car but you get my point).
but on THIS car , its power gain > cornering in the net ring time improvement ...mostly via stronger accel after corner exit and higher terminal speeds on straights
I think power is less important here than many people think. You know how many tuned 800+ hp 911 I saw/experienced in my life and none of them were really that fast on the track? I know a guy who has a turbo charged (close to 900 hp ) 997 GT3 Supercup, only god knows how he got this car street legal here in Germany and he isn't that fast.
New tire compounds work like miracles lately, it is really impressive what kind of massive improvements we are witnessing...
