Thank you guys! It's really nice to know that I helped other people with the similar problem.
Porsche930S: the dealer has a little book and I faxed one page from it. The hand was quicker than the eye that day
SoCal Alan: I sent the new info to my architect so I don't have the latest dimensions but it's about 4 meters wide, 9 meters long and 1.2 meters deep in to the ground. Last time the angle resulted was 10.7 degrees which should be fine. We are talking about a city house similar with central New York houses. It's all cramped between other buildings so the garage is beneath the house (half of it at least). It was a nightmare to get the city hall approve the project but I am so close now ... I can't leave my baby to sleep in the street

My new garage will be 3 feet below ground and the ramp will have a 15% slope. So my architect and I have been working very closely with the dimensions of my 997S. We are limited by the size of the lot and the easements of the street, height of the house, etc.
