Either way you must have full leather.
I wanted two tone when I ordered but it wasn't available. I'm real glad it wasn't. I've sat in others since without full leather and others with the two tone and just black. All I can say is there's no way I'd switch from what I have. This may sound silly but the black dash kinda makes me feel cramped. Maybe that's why you don't see any black buckets at the beach...may make your arm cramp if you fill it too full of sand.

I almost ordered Midnight Blue w/ Sand/Black interior, but I couldn't find any pics of it, and was afraid it was too many colors. This was also a configuration that my dealer said they'd not return my deposit if I had to back out, as this might be an option they couldn't sell.
I held swatches all over the cars to try to imagine it, but at the end of the day, I though it'd be too much black. So I opted for Blue / Sand.
Incidentally, my car is under construction as we speak.

Definitely only get black/sand if paint is black.

the all sand interior looks too bright; not right for a sports car. The 2 tone is interesting but odd at the same time. Did you notice the steering wheel is black while the shifter and e-brake is sand. It looks a bit akward but that's that's the way it is with 2 tone. Also the 2 tone does look a bit too busy with with the silver trim..now you really have 3 tone! But none the less my vote goes for 2 tone b/c all sand is just too blah.

My 1999 had all savana beige . Never again. The " yellow " reflections on the inside windshield on sunny days drove me nuts . Polarizing sunglasses didn't help. If you like the idea of beige, I'd go two tone - just like Porsche used to do standard on beige interiors in the early 90s ( w/o charging $$ as an option today) or as Ferrari still does.

It's actually possible, if you're willing to go deep into Exclusive territory.
Pick a sand interior, with a black upper half of the dashboard and doors (they are two different options).
On a side note, I'm unsure if the upper half of the doors in black includes the equivalent part behind the rear seats. It's not mentioned in the brochure. Better ask before it's too late.
I'm also very sensitive to reflections in the dashboard, so I'd go black/sand anytime.
However, black/sand really needs three or four options if you don't want your car to look too busy with the grey and silver trim. This is how I'd do it:
- Steering wheel: Y (triangular wheels) or round (sport wheels) trim in leather (instead of Volcano Grey)
- Silver trim between the passenger A/C vents: Get them in leather (Exclusive option), or get the small Carbon or Wood package.
- PCM: in leather, or maybe Alu-Look.
- Sports seats: with the back in leather.

The yellow reflections didn't bother me like seeing an outline of the dash , but in the way it reduced contrast of things down the road. It's was as if the inside windshield was covered in " vinyl vapor " in the summer . If you aren't picky ( like I am ) regarding getting the deepest widest contrast viualization of the road ahead , it's not a big deal.
