    IMHO GT Silver varies between 986 and 997

    It seems to me that the GT Silver on the 40th Anniversary Edition 986 Boxster is slightly different from the GT Silver on the 997 & 987 models.

    Any thoughts?

    "Normally" they should be the same, BUT it is always possible I guess.
    I never saw them together

    Can't tell you about GT-Silver, but I had a similar impression with Sealgrey when comparing 986 & 987 side by side. Though the salesman confirmed, that it's exactly the same colour, it appeared different to me. I guess - especially with the metallic paint - it's just dependent on the car's lines (even more so if you compare a 997 to a 986).
