You can scam the insurance much easier, no need to do this. Sweden is half surrounded by water, wouldn't be difficult to sink the car somewhere. 
Insurance usually only wants to see the police report and the two car keys. 
No, I have never done it but I was consulting my insurance in some cases of car theft (not mine) many years ago, so I know how they work(ed?).

noone1:So the owner found his car like this and just called a tow truck and left? Yeah right. The last thing you'd do is call a tow truck to attempt to tow your wheel-less $400K K (high-tax country I assume) without being there to ensure it's done safely.

991.2 GT3 RS is rumored for an introduction in summer 2018(!), not this year.
Once 991.2 GT3 (non RS!) production ends in summer 2018, the 991.2 GT3 RS kicks off.
This is of course a rumor but so far, the most reliable one.
This year is more likely to be the year of that special edition 991.2 Turbo S model with 620 hp and carbon or magnesium roof and the year of the next generation Cayenne (availability end of 2017, with a possible introduction in Frankfurt)!
Also...as far as rumors go...no manual for the 991.2 GT3 RS...but you never know (see latest GT3).

RS is PDK only until AP changes his mind. An RS name sake means it's the highest performance car in it's category, that means absolutely no manual transmission. RS cars are for maximum attack on a track. That means only the best transmission will do.
GT2RS is running up the hill at Goodwood in July.

If so,the car will be ridiculously expensive and there is no way we can have it , just being "poor" GT3 owners.

Certainly not in the US. US build days are in July. I anticipate my car will be delivered mid September (July 21st build date)

I am not aware of a limited edition 991.2 GT3 RS...but this doesn't mean everyone will get one.
I assume the production will be limited by production capacity and maybe updated emissions/sound emissions laws only.

RC:Sept. 2018 I assume (if you ordered a GT3 RS)? I thought you are getting a GT3???
Delivery September 2017 and it will be a GT3. My dealer is on notice that I may want the .2 GT3 RS if they build it which will be 2018 assuming I want won. I turned down the .1GT3RS.
