    New Order........

    Finally after waiting for many many years, I've finally made the plunge into P ownership. See anything missing that's a must have?

    Carrara White
    Black/Sand Beige Interior

    Still debating on the PCCB.

    Late September/Early October Delivery

    Currently 81 TT's in production for US, 12 for Florida, 1200 total US allocation. Have 20 days to change order, only $1000 down so far total. MSRP.

    no rear wiper, check it out looks much better IMO.

    Extended Navigation - Option #672 - Records routes driven and uses GPS to triangulate position in unmapped areas. Only $205...second least expensive option other than floor mats.

    According to dealer, 2006 US Allocation.

    Of the 81 US cars in production, only 17 have PCCBs....and the $20K replacement cost will keep me from selecting that option.

    That makes more sense, at least PCCB retains some exclusivity.

    Someone else previously posted that 264 (give or take a few) have been delivered in the U.S. as of about a week ago. 8 in Canada. Still a very low number.
    You guys are going to love this car. Sometimes, I hardly believe that I own one.

    Congrats FSU you deserve it before you decide on the m/f steering wheel try out the sport, you may like the feel of the smaller wheel better.

    i haven't had my tt long .. but here are a couple of thoughts in the for what it's worth dept.

    i totally agree about passing on the rear wiper. imo it wouldn't look good and it's water removal ability is a non-event as no water would ever collect on the rear window at least not in quantity requiring removal thanks to the slope of the glass. prior to getting my car i was firmly in the i want one group.. no more

    imo the side skirts look better as a contrasting element, my car is red. the black side and front and rear pieces make the car look lower.i think if you did go painted you might consider painting the front and back pieces as well for continuity. if rock chips are an issue the black and textured trim is beneficial.

    now this is wierd, i'm not a trim person but my car has black interior and some cf and black multi-function wheel that i like. but imo a wood wheel would be a nice accent. just a thought.

    20K, that's it for me as well, no PCCB. Must tell the wife how I just saved 9K.........lol

    Thanks....I'll check out the different steering wheels before my deadline....good excuse to go drive 911s this weekend. By the way, you're next on the list....get ready.
