Tim, thanks. The funny thing is I am not sure how much better this car will be over the .1. I am anxiously waiting for the reviews to come in.Smiley

I will not worry. New Porsches are always incrementally improved over the old one.  The improvement may be small, but it is there.  Besides, you will not lose any money if you sell it within your 1-2 years time frame.

Better than silver and a good compromise for those who feel uncomfortable with black wheels. 👍😎

Any dealer can ask ask much as they want over MSRP. Whether or not they find a mug to pay it is another matter..

Not in Germany for a new factory car (certified Porsche dealership) and I kind of have the feeling that this is valid for other specific countries as well. Many dealers here sell very popular or limited edition cars at MSRP though (good customers still get their 3% rebate though). When the car has been already registered to a customer, this is when the fun starts: They can ask as much as they want and I think the same is possible for cars which aren't produced by Porsche anymore but I could be wrong.

Thanks for your excellent input. I did consider that one of the dials is not white but again that doesn't concern me. Here is the interior I selected. With red calipers, the red interior coordinates well at least to me.Smiley You can click on the picture for a close up of the stitching against the bucket seats.

FWIW, because Porsche limited the interior option, their designers selected colors that would work with the limited exterior colors for the car. They took a minimalist approach in the production of the car except for performance.Smiley

    Re: OFFICIAL: New 991.2 GT3

Some excellent suggestions which I investigated using the configurator. I prefer the brush aluminum over the carbon fiber because of the contrast. There is amble CF with the bucket seats. The colored vents though attractive are overpriced and look out of place.

My normal practice with silver wheels is I wipe them after every drive. It takes two minutes if that. The always look clean. With .1 platinum wheels they always looked dirty even when they were clean. Grey wheels will be no different.

    Re: OFFICIAL: New 991.2 GT3

Now that we are all discussing small details :

My car will be metallic black.

    What would you recommend ?

    - order the LED with PDLS plus with black surrondings, which is not changing fro previous generation (i had them , but to be honnest, I was not driving so often during night and this is not making a big difference).

-order the standard xenon with PDLS, but which are new with the four LED into it, signature from Phase II, and highlighted in all pictures from 991.2 GT3 site

It is not a question of saving 2000 euro ( in fact this is as much) , but more a question of getting the signature from phase II with those 4 leds which are not so bad in my opinion.

I'm very interested into your feedbacks guys.

I have only till 10 th of May to make mods, so I should figure it fast.

    Thanks !

    Re: OFFICIAL: New 991.2 GT3

Good question.. had Voodoo Blue in mind, but just been looking at some pics of Nogaro Blue which looks pretty cool (below.

    Then there's a nice grey:

    I wonder..

was pretty cool actually- dealer specializes in PTS. They had 5 PTS cars on the floor: a fashion grey, oak green metallic, some light blue metallic and simething like linen metallic. Also a Chalk / Kreide car.

some nice metallics out there like violet:

..but that would need PCCB to work.

    Choices choices indecision

    Re: OFFICIAL: New 991.2 GT3

What does Porsche charge for PTS? If it's reasonable around like $7-10K, I'd go PTS. I would not do PTS if it was $30K like Ferrari or Lamborghini charge.

People usually like more rare colors on GT Porsches and will pay for it come resale, so long as it's not awful.

    Re: OFFICIAL: New 991.2 GT3

$7k this year - was $5k last year

    Re: OFFICIAL: New 991.2 GT3

Definitely do custom for $7K. You'll get at least some of that back come resale, maybe even a premium if it's a really nice color. And of course you'll have the perfect and best color too.

    Re: OFFICIAL: New 991.2 GT3

Birch green is beautiful . My dealer had a .1GT3 with 700 miles and it sold in a day. Just look at Mike's RS. Notice the black wheels?1493064657205birch green RS.jpg

    Re: OFFICIAL: New 991.2 GT3

Very nice! Would need to be a little careful to choose something not too polarizing though, as Switzerland is a small market of buyers mostly averse to loud colours. Viper green would probably sell, but something like Birch or Gelbgrün might not be easy to resell. There's been an Olympic Blue PTS Boxster for sale here for years now for example.

If you are looking for subtle PTS, how about a GT3 in Carbon Black Metallic...

    Re: OFFICIAL: New 991.2 GT3

    Oh wow kiss

On the subtle end of things Dark Blue Metallic and Mahogany Metallic also look cool. Feels like a Clubsport needs something brighter though. Interestingly, the dealer has accepted orders for Touring pack cars, and fully expects to deliver wingless ones in the not-too-distant. These were all being specced in low-key colours.
