My wife and I drove 3 hours each way to Walter's Porsche to look at a Terracotta/Black Int. Slate Ext 06 C4S with a Aerokit. When we got there we looked at it and thought that the Terracotta was too bright and orange looking. I could see how some folks might like the color. It was just a bit too aggressive for our conservative taste.
The salesman's comment was, "Well, it will tone down over time, just like a leather couch in your den". Needless to say, we did not buy it.
Speaking of Walter's in Riverside, CA, we thought their attitude was arrogant and they could have cared less whether we bought from them or not. The manager and salesman knew we drove along way to come out and see their cars. They never followed up with us after we left.
We ended up buying a 997TT Slate/Black from another dealer who treated us right about three weeks later.

mawyatt, my car is being picked up at the Porsche dealer by Intercity Lines hopefully on Saturday. 
It's paid for and ready to go, just waiting for the truckers to arrive. If all goes well, I should have it here in California in about 7-10 days. Even with one of the best truck lines like an Intercity, Murphy tends to hang out with those people more than any other business, so one can only expect the worst and hope for the best.
And a long wait it has been, believe me ...

From what I know, and I am no expert, your situation doesn't sound right to me. Your dealer either had a very long list of buyers before taking your deposit or isn't keeping you well informed. Call Ray Diaz at Porsche of Huntsville, Alabama - they're relatively close to you. 256 426 9130. Ray is an great person to deal with and they don't play games. Tell him I sent you...
We raise Old English Mastiffs and just had a little of 10 pups. We have 7 Mastiffs now. Yours did well living so long, he was beautiful. Most only stay with us on average of 8 years. Here's a photo of Sky, he's 4 years old and weighs about 230lbs:

Rudy passed away 2 years ago. He was around 260lbs and simply magnificent. The bigger they are, the more gentle and kind they become. Rudy was the hit everywhere we went. As everyone knows, some of the Starbucks have become big hangouts. I'd take Rudy down there for a Latte and Bagel and this dog would attract crowds. If I wasn't married, we're talkin' a major babe magnet here. Hint: single guys, get an Old English Mastiff - not just any Mastiff, because the other breeds are VERY different. PM if you want to know more, I hate hi-jacking a thread, sorry.

Nice dogs. I know we were very lucky to have him that long. You can how grey his face eventually got. "Brutus" was born from 2 Champion Mastiff's by Ann-Marie McDonald of Skylar Mastiffs. 190lbs when he was 5 years old. His father was 240lbs. The picture is deceiving because my Sheperd was one of the largest Female Sheperds I've ever seen at 145lbs. We showed Brutus, my wife was the handler and won a few points in the ring. It was all for fun. Great Dog. He was so gentle w/ my kids. Miss him.

If you don't get the two tone with optional carbon fiber, like top pic, then you must get at least optional deviating black leather shift knob , brake lever and rear center console so those parts match the steering wheel. This is the way this option should have been done to begin with...oh well. Look how odd it is when all the parts your hand touches when driving don't match as in bottom pic. Deviating carpet or just black floor mats would complete the harmonized look.

Regarding the dogs... Never had a Mastiff but a BullMastiff a few years back. (Tyson).... He was stolen though. He was built like a oak tree but was so friendly and gentle. I miss the bugger.
I have 2 new 'babies' though, a 1 year old Siberian Husky Mia and a 7 Month Siberian Husky cross timberwolf Vixen.
