Need help!!! Am getting ready to order Cayenne S or Cayenne..
    1. Love black interior, but does it get dirtier easier and look worn quicker than the havana sand???
    2. Need opinion on these color choices....black on black, prosecco on black, lapis blue on havana or titanium metallic on black???

I had a similar decision problem. I wanted to order a black Cayenne Turbo with the havana-sand interior. This combo really looks classy.
My dealer then told me, that the light leather usually gets a certain "patina" (aging effect) after some time, which actually makes it look nice and more genuine. Some people however want to keep that "clean" leather look forever and this isn't possible with a light leather color. After my dealer started the "thinking process" in me, I thought about the kids. "What about the kids" I asked him and his face changed immediately. "Well, you know how kids are..." he answered with a pretty serious face.
YES, I know how kids are, my ML55 with black interior sometimes looks like a pig stable and the white marks from the shoes of my little girl (she's 3) are pretty persistent and difficult to remove. I also remember when my little one emptied her stomach contant on my black leather seats, I had to rub forever to get the stains (and the smell) out.

So if you have kids or dogs, stay away from light interiors.
    You'll stay out of trouble.

I decided to go for a titanium met. Cayenne Turbo with black interior. The best combo to stay worry free.

What about Black on Grey? the grey looks pretty nice...

black can be dirty easily, with all those white stuff...
beige is really good, and I agree with RC, it looks very classy, I have it on my S600 and it looks awesome, but I think the Cayenne one is a little bit darker, its really hard to keep it clean, my driver has to cover the leather seats with something, so basically we are sitting not on the leather now!

For exterior color, the black one looks really good! I have grey leather and I like it so much, its not too dark and it doesnt get dirty easily remember!! black leather will make your car feels hotter in the summer!!

    enjoy

    Your driver???

    Re: Color choice for Cayenne

My advice is .... just go for the color you like.

Why would you buy a color you dislike just because it's easy to clean or it doesn't get dirty.... who cares?

I believe it's complete nonsense to cover nice leather seats to protect them... Bottom line, during your ownership you'll never enjoy them !!!!! and the next owner will have the pleasure to drive on "brand new immaculate seats" !!!! The premium you'll get will be minuscule in comparison with the frustation to seat on covers .....

I would go for the color you like/want, try to keep it as clean as possible AND you will enjoy it everyday...

Remember you only live once ....

One thing is sure, sitting on black leather seats during summer is like sitting on a fry-pan... it burns....

    Re: Color choice for Cayenne

I would personally go for the black(non metallic) on black combination... This is the combination that I ordered. I was also thinking of Titanium or Prosecco on black, but at the end I did not like the black bottom part in combination with another colour, it destroyed the continuity of the colour...

    Re: Color choice for Cayenne

My driver, yup I have drivers in Indonesia thats where my parents live, and I will stay after I complete my college

Don't forget that you will upset yourself even that you buy the color you like when its dirty. So the best thing to do is to choose the color you like and try to keep it as clean as possible!

Just make sure he lets you drive from time to time! Don't let him have all the fun.

SOFLA1: sorry but I don't mean to hijack the thread

carrageous: yes my dad is not fair to me! my driver gets all the expensive cars to drive, to wash and to enjoy! I've never even driven any of my dad's cars hahaha, but I rather sit inside it than driving it, because its dangerous driving in Indonesia, when you stop in the traffic light, anything can happen to your car! people steal the side mirrors, the wheel caps etc etc

    Re: Color choice for Cayenne

    Titanium exterior with grey interior...

    Re: Color choice for Cayenne

    Deetz,

Yes, I was thinking it must be interesting to drive in Indonesia although, if I had to do so, I'd like to be in Cayenne.

    Good luck!

    D.
